ANGRY birds attack each other with kung fu-style moves in a vicious battle over a nest.

Aggressive European starlings launched themselves at two northern flickers, clawing and pecking until they forced them out.

Photographer Fabiola Forns, who captured the Florida wetland scene, said: "The starlings plotted the attack. Feathers flew everywhere, they were pecking each other furiously. Eventually the flickers gave up."
